Hello, I’m Mehmet Uslu.
I’m a technology enthusiast who grew up among codes, thought through circuits, and tried to reach the sky through antennas.
During the day, I build systems with C# .NET; at night, I listen to voices from the other side of the world on amateur radio frequencies under the callsign TA3USL.
Technology isn’t just a profession for me — it’s a way of life.
For me, an error message isn’t a “problem,” it’s a story waiting to be solved.
An API isn’t just two systems talking; it’s an effort for humans and machines to find a common language.
Every line of code carries a bit of patience and curiosity — and I follow that curiosity wherever it leads.
My Journey
Back in the late 1990s, when the sound of a dial-up modem felt like music, I built my first website.
Seeing it featured as an example site in magazines like PCNet, Chip, and C@nteen made me realize that software wasn’t just a hobby.
Years have passed, languages changed, frameworks evolved — but one thing remains the same:
With every new technology, I keep asking “why.”
These days, I mainly develop high-performance backend systems using .NET Core, PostgreSQL, and Dapper.
In my spare time, I work on Raspberry Pi, microcontroller projects, and IoT systems — sometimes decoding the story of a sensor, sometimes that of a data packet.
Some of these experiences I share on this blog — because knowledge becomes meaningful only when shared.
Why This Blog Exists
mehmetuslu.com is like a laboratory.
Here, you won’t just find “how to do it” — you’ll also find “why it’s done this way.”
Real errors, real solutions, and sometimes, “this didn’t work, but it was worth trying.”
Because loving technology sometimes means loving sleepless nights too.
On this blog, you’ll find:
- C# .NET world: Microservices, performance optimization, minimal ORM solutions with Dapper.
- Data & Logic: PostgreSQL, query optimization, missing index analysis, view performance.
- Frontend notes: Vue.js, Pinia, and Nuxt for interactive user experiences.
- Artificial Intelligence: Python, transformer architectures, and generative AI models.
- Embedded Systems: Raspberry Pi, sensor communications, MQTT, and remote control.
- Experience stories: Field experiences, debugging adventures, and sometimes just “the intersection of life and code.”
What Sets Me Apart
For me, coding isn’t just a technical process — it’s a form of communication.
Every line carries thought, every commit leaves a learning trace.
I believe a function should not only work but also be maintainable and readable.
And most importantly, I never shy away from saying “I don’t know” — because every “I don’t know” is the beginning of the next “I’ve learned.”
If you’ve read this far, chances are you, too, have a special connection with technology.
Then — welcome.
Here, you’ll find not just code, but thought, curiosity, and a bit of life itself.
If you want to ask a question, give feedback, or just say hello — the contact page is always open.
73!
(In amateur radio, it means “best regards.”)
