PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog
Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium have access to a vast library of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games. This library includes both beloved classic titles and popular recent releases. I believe there are around 400 games in Extra and about 700 in Premium, but I’m not entirely sure.
This game library offers subscribers a wide range of choices. Now, you can access hundreds of games just by paying a monthly fee. Especially, you get the opportunity to experience some of the big recent releases. It reminded me that last month, I saw Horizon Forbidden West on the PlayStation Plus Extra section on PlayStation official site. It’s that open-world action-adventure game, and it looked fantastic.
PlayStation Plus Premium Benefits
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, in addition to Extra, also have access to extra features. The main one is access to classic PlayStation, PS2, PS3, and PSP games. I haven’t personally experienced cloud gaming much. I think it’s a bit complicated and relies on an internet connection, so it might not fully replicate the experience of a traditional console at home. Still, I think it’s a good option, especially useful when traveling.
Updates to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog
The PlayStation Plus game catalog is regularly updated every month. New popular games are added, and some are removed from the library. So, it can be helpful to track which games are added each month.

Overall, the new structure of PlayStation Plus and its expanding game catalog present a great opportunity for gamers. Being able to access recent popular titles at an affordable price is very advantageous. I myself am trying to explore this extensive game library whenever I find the time.
